Zhu Hui

M.D

Dr. Zhu Hui is the founder and inaugural director of the All-Military Spinal Cord Injury Treatment Centre. She serves on numerous academic committees focused on spinal cord injury research in China and internationally and has led a wide range of research projects at the international, national, provincial, and military levels. Her work has earned her multiple prestigious awards, including the National Science and Technology Progress Award (Second Prize), the Military Medical Achievement Award (Second Prize), and the Yunnan Province Science and Technology Progress Award (First Prize).

Dr. Zhu has been recognized with the Grant for Outstanding Professionals in the Military for her significant contributions to spinal cord injury care. Her achievements span improvements in diagnosis and treatment, disability assessment, and rehabilitation training—most notably the development of the Kunming Walking Method and the Kunming Locomotor Scale—as well as advancements in perioperative care and the management of complications in spinal cord injury patients.
