Dr. Ethan Kellum, MD is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine and regenerative orthopedics. With extensive experience in treating musculoskeletal injuries and joint conditions, Dr. Kellum emphasizes non-surgical approaches to healing, including regenerative therapies such as platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and stem cell treatments. His goal is to help patients return to peak performance and the activities they love—without the need for invasive surgery. He has served as assistant team physician for the NBA’s Boston Celtics, as well as for Harvard and Tufts University athletics, and continues to be a leader in sports injury recovery.
Dr. Kellum earned his medical degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, completed his orthopedic residency at the Medical College of Georgia, and pursued a sports medicine fellowship at New England Baptist and Boston Children’s Hospitals. He is a published author in peer-reviewed orthopedic journals and book chapters and is known for his holistic, patient-centered approach. Currently based in Franklin, Tennessee, he continues to innovate in regenerative medicine while guiding patients on their path to long-term musculoskeletal health and performance.
