Dr. Kaufmann began her academic journey in the biological sciences, earning a Master’s Degree in Tropical Ecology and Plant Physiology from the University of Connecticut. She went on to earn her Medical Degree from the University of Maryland, followed by a prestigious residency and fellowship in pediatric anesthesiology at Johns Hopkins University. For the past five years, she has served as Chief of Pediatric Anesthesia at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, a nationally recognized center of excellence.
Her deep-rooted fascination with the science of aging began as a personal interest but evolved into a professional mission.
