Dr. Mark Ghalili is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician and a globally recognized Regenerative Medicine Specialist based in Los Angeles. As the founder of Regenerative Medicine LA, he is known for treating complex, chronic illnesses by identifying the root causes rather than masking symptoms with medications. Patients from around the world—including medical professionals, celebrities, and individuals with treatment-resistant conditions—seek out his expertise, earning him the nickname “The Doctor to The Doctors.”
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Dr. Ghalili completed his undergraduate studies at UC Irvine, earned his medical degree from Western University of Health Sciences, and completed his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Early in his career, he recognized the limitations of conventional medicine, which often relies on pharmaceuticals rather than understanding and reversing the underlying causes of illness.
His mission became personal in 2016 when he experienced a severe, life-altering reaction to the commonly prescribed antibiotic Cipro (a fluoroquinolone). What began as a routine course of antibiotics turned into a devastating health crisis. Dr. Ghalili was left with severe neurological damage, muscle wasting, brain fog, and tendon tears—ultimately becoming wheelchair-bound for months. Traditional medicine offered no answers—and, worse, many doctors dismissed his symptoms entirely.
Determined to heal, Dr. Ghalili turned to regenerative and alternative therapies. Through a combination of mitochondrial restoration, IV nutrient therapy, stem cell support, genetic optimization, and a plant-based lifestyle, he was able to reverse his condition and walk again—an experience that transformed his approach to medicine forever.
Today, Dr. Ghalili applies that same holistic, science-backed approach to his patients. His clinic specializes in a wide range of therapies, including:
Dr. Ghalili has successfully treated hundreds of patients suffering from fluoroquinolone toxicity (Cipro, Levaquin, Avelox), chronic fatigue, autoimmune-like symptoms, and medication side effects. His work was recently highlighted on The Doctors TV show, where he treated Dr. Andrew Ordon for fluoroquinolone-related tendon damage with a customized IV protocol designed to rebuild mitochondria and accelerate healing.
Dr. Ghalili is driven by his belief that no patient should feel unheard or dismissed. He offers a personalized, compassionate, and integrative approach for those who have been told there is no hope. Having lived through the same medical system that failed him, Dr. Ghalili now dedicates his life to helping others reclaim theirs.
